Today I used the Messages from your Angel's Oracle Deck by Doreen Virtue.

If you don't have children, please don't be alarmed and think that this card does not apply to you. Oftentimes, a card should never be looked at, at face value. Yes, if you have children or have lost a child or children, this is a comforting card with a beautiful straightforward message. However, we should look deeper to our own self, look at our inner child.

We all need nurturing and healing at some point in our lives. Sometimes, we get so busy with everyone else we forget to love and nurture ourselves. We forget to listen to our own needs and wants, and we put ourselves on the back burner. We treat ourselves like an incomplete project that we will get to one day.....and that one day never seems to come.

Today, if you have children, love and affirm them. If you think that this card is about your inner child, listen to your inner child, affirm and love yourself. Take a nap, make time to play, dance, eat ice cream, do whatever affirms your inner child.

To those of you, who have living parents, call them or visit them and if you can be your mama's baby again for a little while, embrace that joy.
